By the end of A2 you'll be able to:

Understand sentences and expressions about immediate personal relevance
Communicate in simple, routine tasks requiring a direct exchange of information
Describe your background, environment and immediate needs
Handle short social exchanges, even if you can't sustain a full conversation
Read and understand short, simple texts

When you're ready, Intermediate French (B1) will take you into real, spontaneous conversation.
